It began on October 10th, 1971. Life that is. Of course I can’t remember that far back. But I’m pretty sure it was just a few years later that my love for drawing, coloring and being creative had begun.
As I got older, I realized I wanted a career that involved art. The schools I attended did not have much to offer me in respects to art classes. The few art teachers I did have established a great foundation within me that included a great sense of composition, perspective, and experimentation.
When the computer replaced the easel and the mouse replaced the pencil, Photoshop and Illustrator wrapped themselves around my creative soul and consumed me. I fell in love with the world of computer graphics. Then web design emerged and became the way of the new millennium. It was such an incredibly exciting concept to be able to animate my artwork and have it interact with people all over the world.
I enjoy creating for both the print and web design industries. I love what I do and I’m not sure how many people can actually say that about their profession.
My portfolio of work includes magazine layout design, Flash animations, eCommerce websites, corporate branding, recruitment advertising, trade show displays, CD-rom presentations, and so much more.
My communication skills have always allowed me to explain things clearly so that my clients and co-workers both understand me as well as trust my judgment and expertise. You can read what some of my clients were nice enough to say about me.
I currently work full-time for MEDITECH as a web developer and I am not currently taking on any new freelance projects. My spare time is now consumed by personal creative projects and new ventures.
